The steps of drawing a Newman Projection of 1,1-dimethyl cyclohexane are the following:
1. Draw 1,1-dimethyl cyclohexane
2. Draw a chair conformation of 1,1-dimethyl cyclohexane and number the carbons on the chair
3. Identify and highlight C2-C1 bond and C4-C5 bond
4. Looking from carbon 2 to carbon 1, draw a Newman Projection. Do the same looking from carbon 4 to carbon 5. Follow the video below for step-by-step explanation.
